JJ Shabazz had a passion for ensuring that every family could enjoy a holiday meal, and he was known for giving away turkeys during Thanksgiving. Our nonprofit, proudly named in his honor, has carried that tradition forward for the past four years. Each Thanksgiving, we provide full holiday dinners to families in need, reminding our community that they are surrounded by people who care.
